Mission:
The mission
of the Asian American Forum is to advance the Dallas / Fort Worth Asian
American Community through leadership education.
Goal:
To have more, better trained Asian American leaders and
stronger Asian American organizations in the political, community and
professional arenas of Dallas / Fort Worth.
The Asian American community in the Dallas / Fort Worth region has been growing very quickly over the past two decades. Asian Americans face many different obstacles to gaining success both as individuals and as a community. Aspirations to participate fully in the community, to break through the glass ceiling, and to be heard politically are many times thwarted. In order to overcome these obstacles, the Asian American Forum was organized to address these challenges through leadership education.
The Asian American Forum is a collaborative effort and it will cooperate with other organizations to assure that its programs are meeting the needs of Asian American communities in the Dallas / Fort Worth area and their interests
The Asian American Leadership Institute - The institute is a day-long program with nationally recognized experts in Asian American issues. The issue of leadership in the Asian American Community will be addressed and there will be workshops to increase awareness and skills of leadership Community Forum - Discussions on topics of vital interest to the Asian American Community.

Series of Asian American Leaders - Nationally known Asian Americans
who are leaders in their respective realms will be invited to share
their views in Dallas / Fort Worth.
Distinguished leaders could come from any sphere:
business, politics, community affairs or the arts.
