Participants will examine the concept of chaos and how it reigns in daily life. Then, everyone will have the opportunity to find the place in chaos that is the "center" - a place of calm and clarity.

Columnist Pamela Yip will lead an interactive session on personal finance.     In addition to answering questions about the techniques and motivation for spending, saving and investing, she will also discuss some issues focusing on Asian Americans. 

- How  Asian Pacific Americans view money, resources, wealth – how they conceptualize it?

- What are the cultural influences on this conceptualization?

- How does it impact their relationships, family, and business?

- What are the traditions that impact their relationship to money and finances –their beliefs and superstitions about saving, earning, contributions, etc.?

- How do these view impact their goal setting, career planning, family planning, and attitudes?
